KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 — The Auditor-General's Report (LKAN) 2/2024 has revealed that the Royal Malaysian Navy failed to execute the procurement of new ships as planned and to maintain existing vessels on schedule, resulting in some ships exceeding their operational lifespan due to high-tempo maritime operations.
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30 — The procurement of the first batch of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) has been reduced from six to five vessels after the application to continue the project was discussed again by the government, Navy chief Admiral Datuk Abdul Rahman Ayob said.
